We are close to the access to the main road and the Tuscany’s Cities of art, the sea and the mountains, this permit to live at Villa Maria Vittoria and to know the region.
History
Villa Maria Vittoria, located in Segromigno in Monte, is a building erected at the beginning of 1600 as a dependence of Villa Lucchesini, then Villa Ubaldini. It is surrounded for the most beautiful Ville Lucchesi like Villa Mansi, Villa Torrigiani and others.
In the first half of 1900, the last Ubaldini retired to live in this dependence till she passed away.
This dependence was partially destined as a residence, the first floor was instead a flower mill then converted to a an olive oil mill, that was in operation till few years ago.
In 2003, still maintaining the original characteristics, this complex has been completely restored in the original parts that constituted the residential apartments. The olive oil mill was instead transformed to the main apartment, that is inhabited by the owners and is characterized by an old press as part of the decorations.
The garden is surrounded by ancient trees and a landscape decoration done by the land lady which is a landscape architect.

By Car
From Lucca
Take A-11 exit Lucca East following in direction Lucca Centro. Pass through the bridge over the rail road and follow the road on right side running along the antique wall.
At the 3rd street light turn right following Viale Castracani ( SS 435 ) that after is named Via Pesciatina.
At the 5th street light , there are Zone, turn left following the sign for Segromigno in Monte ( Villa Mansi ).
Crossing 2 street light, follow the road that ends on an old stone wall with a yellow sign that shows VILLA MANSI to the right., turn left on Via delle Selvette and follow the road for 300mt and you will find a brown iron gate on the right hand side of the road.
You have arrived: Via delle Selvette 229 -231 -233.
Da Capannori
Take the A-11
When you are on the A-11 highway exit at CAPANNORI.
Follow direction PORCARI
When arrive to the third round point follow direction PESCIA.
When you arrive to ZONE,At the traffic light look for sign on the left side of the road: VILLA MANSI.
